Thất Sơn Thần Võ Đạo - The Seven Mountains Way of Spiritual Martial Art

Thất Sơn Thần Võ Đạo (Seven Mountains Spirit Fist Kung Fu) has been well known in Vietnam for centuries. It is renowned for internal energy training, for healing and for graceful Kung Fu forms and powerful fighting skills.

This ancient art was shaped in China by the Esoteric Taoists. It spread through Burma, where it was influenced by the Mystic Buddhist School of Spiritual Martial Art, and through Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and over the Seven Mountains into Vietnam.

Seven Mountains Kung Fu is actually split into two different arts.  Thất Sơn Quyền (Seven Mountains Fist) is animal style Kung Fu which includes: Tiger, Dragon, Crane, Eagle, Phoenix, Snake, and Monkey.  Thần Quyền  (Spirit Fist) is a moving meditation that creates a trance-like state.  While these two arts can be studied sepatately, there is a synergistic effect when they are studied together. Each enhances the other when they are combined.  Thất Sơn Thần Võ Đạo (Seven Mountains Spirit Fist Kung Fu) is the union of the two arts.

Now Master Phan has allowed Sifu Ian to spread this great art past Philadelphia and into the Ardmore / Havertown area of Pennsylvania.
